Chilvers Coton v Ansley Village

This match, played at Coton, was a first round tie in the Coventry Cup Competition. The result was a surprise for the home team, but this and other reverses can only be accounted for in the fact that the players will not turn up at practice. W. Ward, for Ansley, took 8 wickets for 17 runs. Score:-
