Nuneaton Chronicle 7-6-1901

Ansley Hall made an excellent show against Polesworth in the match in connection with the Tamworth and District league.

J Cocks batted in splendid style for 28, and P. Greenough proved a great success in bowling, taking 4 wickets for one run.

Altogether the Ansley team were very smart on the field, taking every chance that was given.

Nuneaton Observer 7-6-1901

Tamworth Herald 8-6-1901 has Ansley batting first and has I Lawrence instead of James Lawrence.

Is T Armstrong the same T Armstrong who played for Ansley Victoria previously?
